Why I Rock Jesus?

I had (3) dreams before I started this journey. In the first dream my wife and I were driving down a road. I got out when it looked as if the end of the road was washed out. As I looked out I could see that the road was broken in small pieces of concrete or rock. In an attempt to get to the other side I tried to jumped from one broken piece of road to another. However, before long, I fell into rough waters.

In the second dream everything happened the same way except when I began to jump from piece to piece I got a little further before sinking into the tossing sea. In the third and last dream of this type, my wife and I were driving again and came up to a very tall bridge that was not made by man. However, it was only a half of bridge. We both got out to take a closer look.

Immediately a large hand reached down to us as if to say "come". I then grabbed the large hand with one of my hands and grabbed my wife's hand with another and we jumped together. This time we landed on solid rock. Not even the soles of my feet were touched by the rough waters.

I believe the dreams were symbolic of the growth of our faith during this journey. So I will continue to hold onto God's hand so that on the solid rock I'll continue to stand.

Secondly, when I was a DJ in the world, I wasn't ashamed of rocking the mic or my turntables for Satan. Now that I'm sold out for Jesus I will not be ashamed of rocking both for Him. I Rock Jesus means I will use my gift of playing music to play music that lifts up the name of Jesus. And Jesus said if He was lifted up He would draw all men unto Him. ( John 12:32 )

So for me, the name DJ I Rock Jesus is also an evangelistic tool. Just saying my DJ name acknowledges my Savior and Lord, sends demons fleeing and leads the lost to salvation.

Thirdly and lastly, I love to demonstrate to the young and old alike that they can have fun, rock back amd forth, bob their heads and clap their hands to Music for Life. That's music that's acceptable to the one who gives life, Jesus Christ. And because I know that DJ's are ministers of music and are responsible for what music is being played. I listen and obey the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit.
